Lead Wichita’s Global Leadership Summit goes virtual for 2020

Organization seeks hosts for small groups to gather at multiple sites

Lead Wichita today announced that it will be on the forefront of a new delivery model for this year’s Global Leadership Summit (GLS), planned for Aug. 6-7. In lieu of a large gathering at Intrust Bank Arena, this year GLS will be delivered via simulcast directly to registrants.

“While we are disappointed to not experience the event together in this large-event format, we are excited about this new opportunity for people to use their influence and gather in small groups to watch GLS Online together,” said Damon Young, Lead Wichita 2020 chair. “Leadership is needed now more than ever, and we are looking for individuals to join us in a movement of people growing in their leadership around the world, at hundreds of sites across the U.S., and in our region and city.”

GLS Online 2020 will include high-value, actionable leadership insights from world-class faculty, plus new interactive experiences, all while viewing conveniently from your business, church, organization or home at an affordable price.

Site hosts will be charged with recruiting team members, colleagues, friends and community contacts to register and join them to watch GLS Online. Minimum requirements are adequate room to host 10 guests for distraction-free viewing and technological capability to stream this year’s simulcast event. Visit LeadWichita.org to learn more about the role and perks of being a site host for this year’s GLS Online.

“Site hosts will play an integral role in building into the leadership of individuals, teams and our entire region during this year’s GLS,” Young said.

Registration for GLS Online is only $99 (normally $189) using the code 20TGLSWICHITA at LeadWichita.org. Scholarships are available to cover registration fees and expenses such as transportation, childcare or time away from work for eligible participants. Each GLS Online ticket registration will also provide access to a GLS Catalyst event being planned for later this year in Wichita. Visit LeadWichita.org to learn more.
