THE HISTORY OF LEAD WICHITA.

Lead Wichita officially was founded in 2019. But it actually began several years ago when a local church in west Wichita, Pathway Church, began hosting the annual leadership development conference, the Global Leadership Summit.

In 2016, local businessman Ben Hutton had a vision to bring the Global Leadership Summit to our entire community and along with Pathway Church and a team of volunteers worked to move the annual event to downtown Wichita. The Global Leadership Summit was hosted at Century II for two years before it moved to Intrust Bank Arena in 2018.

In addition to hosting the Summit each year. Lead Wichita works to equip and inspire leaders in our community year-round by providing resources and connections to encourage personal growth and ongoing leadership development.
